FIRST DEER #002 - ETHAN

 State: Kentucky
Age: 14
Year of Harvest: 2014
Buck or Doe: Buck (8-pointer)
Who Were You With: My dad
The Story:
After hunting for a couple seasons with no luck, I had made it through yet another rifle season without getting a shot at a buck. Finally, as my dad and I were leaving the stand on a December afternoon, we walked upon a doe. We watched for a minute, and soon realized she was locked down with an 8 pointer. He walked out beside her, and I kneeled down, rested my crossbow on my knee, and made the shot.
What Do You Remember Most:
I remember the relief of all those hours paying off and the adrenaline rush that kicked off what would be my favorite hobby ever since.
