How long does shipping take?

Most orders take a few business days to prepare before they ship. Once your order is on the way, delivery time depends on the carrier and your location.

As soon as tracking is available, we’ll send it your way.

We know everybody is used to Amazon showi9ng up almost immediately. We’re a small independent brand, and some Dead Head Outdoors gear is made specifically for your order. It may take a little longer, but we think it’s worth the wait.

When will my order ship?

You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email as soon as your order is on the way.

If it has been several business days and you haven’t seen an update, check your spam or promotions folder first. If you still can’t find anything, contact us and we’ll look into it.

Why did only part of my order arrive?

Don’t panic.

Some products may be prepared or shipped separately, which means an order containing multiple items can occasionally arrive in more than one package.

If one item shows up before the rest, the remainder of your order may already be on its way.

Can I track my order?

Yep.

Once tracking information becomes available, you’ll receive it by email.

Keep in mind that carriers sometimes take a little while to update tracking after a label is created.

What if my order is lost or stops moving?

Let us know.

Send us your order information along with a photo of the issue so we can see what happened and make it right.

Damaged item, wrong item, printing issue - we want to know about it.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Because many of our products begin processing shortly after an order is placed, we can’t guarantee that an order can be changed or canceled once production has started.

The sooner you reach out, the better chance we have of catching it.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

If there’s a problem with your order, contact us before sending anything back.

We handle order issues individually so we can figure out the best way to take care of you.

How do your shirts fit?

Fit can vary slightly depending on the specifc shirt and garment used.

Some styles may fit a little differently from others, so if you’re in between sizes or particular about fit, feel free to contact us before ordering.

We’ll do our best to point you in the right direction.

Why might two Dead Head shirts feel slightly different?

We use different garments depending on the design, style, and collection.

That means two Dead Head shirts may have slightly different fits, weights, or fabric blends. Product descriptions will include available information about the garment and materials.

Are Dead Head products made after I order?

Many of them are.

Instead of keeping warehouses full of every design in every size and color, some Dead Head products are produced after they’re ordered.

That lets us offer more designs while keeping Dead Head Outdoors independent and focused on making things people actually want to wear.

Can I use more than one discount code?

No.

Only one promotional or discount code can be applied to an order at a time.

If you have more than one valid code, use whichever one gives you the better deal.

What is Around the Campfire?

Around the Campfire is our email list — but we try not to make it feel like one.

Subscribers get Dead Head updates, stories, new releases, occasional discounts, and content that we don’t always publish anywhere else.

Absolutely.

The Journal is free to read. No subscription required.

Hunting stories, wild-game recipes, hunting history, tactics, traditions, and whatever else we think belongs there.

Do I have to create an account to order?

No.

You can shop Dead Head Outdoors without creating another account you have to remember a password for.
